Assuming no new signings by then (likely, especially because Jan window is so difficult and Parish is such a good negotiator):
-----------------------Hennessey-----------------------------
Kelly----------Dann-----------------Delaney-----------Ward
------------------------Tomkins-------------------------------
---------------Cabaye--------------McArthur------------------
-----Townsend---------Benteke----------------Remy----------
Subs:
Speroni
Flamini
Ledley
Puncheon
CYL
Campbell
Kai-Kai
I've had to make the assumption that Remy plays on Saturday and does well. He has played on wing before, and can cut in and shoot. Puncheon can replace him after 60 mins.
Main point to make is we get some more physicality in the midfield by having Tomkins holding, a position he has played before. He can also fill in and cover Dann and Delaney's lack of pace and we can go to 5 at the back (5-4-1) when defending. He's 6'3", mobile and likes a tackle.
Puncheon needs a bit more motivation - he has been coasting for too long and responds when dropped. Obviously we will be much better after Zaha and Sako return, and if we make new signings. But not a bad side to get things going. Solid defensively so forward players can express themselves when we are in possession
