Pathetic post match comments by Allardyce on Sky......if this is the quality of his assessment and analytical ability as to why we lost this game then we are relegation certainties as nothing will change....
Banging the drum again about fatigue and that this was why we were unable to close down defensively and not make gut busting runs offensively....
Arsenal played on Sunday and came back from 3 down with the same players tonight...even kicked off earlier and had further to travel........
If SA was concerned about fatigue why not play a weaker team against the Arsenal? We were never likely to get anything at the Emirates.....save the energy of key players for tonight's 6 point game....but it's all bollocks anyway because his assessment as to why we lost is wrong anyway....fact is that we are not good enough in key areas and have not been for 16 months......we need a centre half who can organise and has pace e need full backs that can defend we need a midfielder who can pass the ball and we need a mobile striker with pace.....add to that a playing style that does not rely on luck, chance and hopeful balls into the opponents area and we might just start to have a chance of having a team to be proud of.....fatigue my ass
