I organise an evening kickabout on Thursday evenings (7pm-8pm) in Mitcham. It was originally a work thing but over the last 15 years it's taken on a life of it's own as friends, friends of friends and other randoms have joined. However, due to a couple of long-term injuries (me included) and bloody Southern trains, we're suddenly in a position where we're struggling for numbers.
So I wondered if any fellow BBSers fancied getting involved? As I said we've been playing for the last 15 years, so in terms of standard it would probably suit the more mature, 30+ type. We use half a full-size astro pitch and move the goals around depending on the numbers. It's all very formal and nowhere near as competitive as you'd get down somewhere like Powerleague.
If anyone fancies it send me a PM or reply and I can provide you with more details. The pitch is opposite Mitcham Eastfields station to easy to get to from the line that goes via Balham and Sutton.
