You're out of a job Alan.
Parish and investers probably started looking into other options after the Swansea game but does any one else think the substitution of F Campbell against Man U was fatally what cost him the job, regardless whether you think it affected the game or not but if we had got a point against Man U, would Pardew still be in charge? His gung ho attitude rather than tightening up for a draw showed he was a risk taker rather than a considered tactician. Sometimes gamblers at the track win a race but often lose, and then bet more. Looking back at Pardew's time I saw alot of risks taken which I admired at the time but in hindsight can see this isnt the level headed approach you need to be a successful manager. He obviously took his chance to have a pop at the other investors and it back fired with his comments after the Southampton game, had we picked up more than one point from those 3 games after he could have had another transfer window and a job? I think so, or do you think Parish and the investors machavellianly were just buying time for Allardyce to be appointed?
