Is it time to look at upgrading our scouting team?
Despite a good start to the window the players we have been linked in transfer hotel with aren't exactly players we hadn't heard of and some have been pretty underwhelming.
Whereas the likes of Leicester, Swansea, West Ham, Southampton and Watford seem to unearth gems from all across Europe we get heavily linked with the likes of Hal Robson-Kanu and Ashley Young.
I know the Iain Moody appointment didn't work out but is it time to appoint someone in a similiar role to oversea the whole scouting structure. The last time I actually felt we had a decent scouting system in place was under Freedman but perhaps some of his signings were down to pure luck rather than actual knowledge of the players he was signing.
I see that Paul Mitchell left Spurs last week, he seems to have a decent pedigree at building a scouting system.
