if it is to be believed our offer for Benteke included the performance clauses mentioned of Champions league qualification etc then surely our Chairman is making us look stupid.
I become more convinced that the mind set of the Chairman is our major limiting factor.
If the rumours of Pardew losing the dressing room are also correct (he does seem to have a track record here) then that just makes matters worse.
