So I'm over in the UK for a couple of weeks house-sitting at my bro's house. Usually when I'm over here it's just for a day or so and I'm either in a hotel or visiting family, so I've not have to do "everyday" stuff like shopping and shit. I've noticed a couple of things that either I didn't notice when I lived here or have changed since:
Disabled parking at the local Sainsburys. WTF?? Are they expecting Somme-like numbers of war wounded or something? Feck me! How many (empty) disabled spots do you need in a car park??
Parking places in car parks: bloody small. Does everyone have door dings nowadays?
Sky TV - It's pretty shit isn't it? Not as much choice/channels as I expected. How many +1 channels do you need when there's the catch up service?
Sky Sports - no live football on a Saturday afternoon?? **** off! We have a way better package from NBC (every Prem game live). My bro doesn't have BT Sports, are the games shown on that?
Betting - you probably don't notice it since it's obviously become a totally acceptable part of daily life in the UK, but bloody hell, is there anything you can't bet on? And is there anyone who doesn't bet?
