How should Europe react to the number of migrants trying to reach Europe in boats from Africa?
Should we be rescuing them and mounting patrols to ensure their safe crossing, or should we in the delightful words of Katie Hopkins be viewing them as vermin and doing nothing to protect them.
Or is there a third way that involves trying to understand why people are so willing to risk their lives to try and come here for a 'better life' and work to ensure their better life can happen at home.
