Is London in danger of losing it's soul ?

High Property prices and Rents /Rates have caused Foreign investors to invest heavily in Central London which has created a surge in Flat building and the cleansing of working class people and small businesses from the area and is not good for the character and soul of London .

Has anyone else feel this is the case ?
