Player is due to sign, all set to go through, just a medical to complete. Then 2-3 days later we finally sign them.
Why does it take so long when other clubs seem to manage it in hours?
Interestingly some of the FA's top sports scientists, physios and doctors say the ideal length for a medical will be 48 hours.
