Up to £600 for children to be mascots

This article just caught my eye, largely because of the photo. Seems very sad to make such a joyful experience for many kids largely out of reach for the majority due to such high prices.

"More than half the Premier League clubs have been accused of “excluding families from poorer backgrounds” after a Guardian study found that a few of them are charging as much as £450 for children to be mascots, with West Ham United’s the most expensive package at £600.

The packages vary between £250-400 at Tottenham, £300-400 at Leicester City, £150-425 at Crystal Palace and £330-390 at Stoke. Burnley, West Bromwich Albion and Hull City also charge, while Newcastle United’s corporate hospitality packages of £3,000-4,000 include mascot places."

The article talks about "packages" but doesn't go into much detail. Some clubs described them as "great value for money". Anyone have any insight whether that is true?

Also, not sure it was fair to use us as the main photo - gives the impression that we charge the highest amounts when, according to the article at least, that would be West Ham. It's not like it would be difficult to find a picture of a mascot at a Hammers game.
