Probably not so well known unless you were watching football pre 1970 - but Tommy Lawrence was an important member of Bill Shankly’s Liverpool teams in the 1960’s - a bit on the tubby side, hence ‘The Flying Pig’ nickname, but a reliable keeper none the less.
