Hennessy 3 - two good games, back to square one
Schlupp - n/a - canny time to go off crocked
Soare - 4 - rusty
Damo - 5 - old and slow
Kelly - 6 - ok but slow
TFM - 6 - ok but casual
PVA - 8 - created quite a lot
Cabaye - 5 - tired, dived into tackles, left gaps
JMac - 6 - ok but overworked
Reidewald - 5 - looked unsure of position
Sako - 9 - explosive pace, power and shooting and improved control
Townsend - 6 - ok
Kaikai - 4 - couldn’t get in the game but harsh to judge him on this odd match
Not great tonight but I think we underestimate Brighton, who have looked a good side all season. They play better football than us unfortunately and would also control the game if both first teams are playing.
The plus points were Sako and PVA, who played in about three positions and who looked more than comfortable in midfield, better than Schlupp looks there anyway.
