Builder/Handymen Recommendations

Dear fountain of knowledge that is the BBS,

I'm looking at doing a few home improvements to my mothers house:

- converting our garage into an en-suite downstairs bedroom
- knocking a wall through
- repainting all internal walls
- adding a handrail on the stairs

Was wondering if anyone on here had recommendations of reputable (preferably South London based) people or companies that could do the work?
