Starting at the back .We still need a quality keeper .But the 2 with have IMO are playing better than last year .
We have far more choice at full back .It seemed for about 2 seasons we had Ward playing out of position and Kelly filling in .
Center backs are had to judge as we have lost our 2 best players in that position .But assuming Sako comes back ,Tompkins stays fit and Kelly keeps up his form we look good .Probably need to sign someone as cover as I'm not sure Delaney has the legs anymore .Could be worth giving him a run out against Brighton.
The midfield is looking very good Cabaye is playing far better than last year .Jimmy Mac is back on form .Luka is top quality .Loftus cheek looks good but I still don't know his role in the team .
We have 4 attacking options now .Zaha best form ever .Townsend best form for Palace .Sako was terrible a month ago , suddenly he could be up for player of the month .Has to be used as a super sub ,a underused tactic in modern day football. Benteke now where near last years form but it could be said without him we wouldn't have won at Leicester or Southampton.
