Data breach discovered on Friday. Up to 245,000 UK accounts affected. They say they're working to establish the full details, but the breach "may have included one or more of the following: name, email address, home address, phone number, the last four digits of your card number (but not the whole number) and/or your bank account number and sort code."
Why would you go to all the trouble of stealing all those bank account details from the one company that exclusively deals with a customer base that has no money and terrible credit?
I think that whoever stole the account details should have ransomed them back to Wonga at a price that started at £1000, then went up by 1178% every minute.
