I did this back in 2003 for football aid and was the best day ever. Would have loved to have made the "play with legends" game on 20th may but can't make that date.
Just wanted to float an idea and see if anyone is interested in clubbing together to hire the pitch out one evening or weekend for a friendly game amongst fellow eagles.
Proposed dates in may :
Sat 27th, Sunday 28th
Evening of wed 24th, Thursday 25th
Approx cost is £4K plus VAT so split between 30 players that will be around £150 a head. If we could round that up to £200 each and chuck the extra money into a good local/palace linked charity too.
