I sit next to a county councillor at Selhurst we were talking about this and she siad that they have been given instructions on how to help people and warn them of the risks of putting up and immigrant or immigrant family in their house but have not had a single request for information on this.
Now simple question lets say that you would not be out of pocket, your house insurance would still be valid and the legal issues that you may have if you got locked out of your house and the guest refused to leave was not a problem would you offer to put somone or a family up in your house.
Of couse if you live in my councillor firends borough we already know the answer but if you live elsewhere would you be prepared to help out ?
Whether its the right thing to do or not I would not.
