IT has been suggested this lunchtime that Crystal Palace had scouts watching Rio Ave versus Estoril in Portugal last night. According to one such report, Portuguese clubs allow media to view the list of clubs in attendance to scout players - and Crystal Palace were on it. Normally, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have representatives watching games regularly in the Primeira Liga. But it came as surprise to see the Eagles on it this time around.
