Keep reading stories about how more and more under 25s are no longer drinking alcohol or have switched to the many low alcohol 0.5 and below beers. Now this is something I commend them for if its a lifestyle choice or they fear the dangers of alcohol etc.
But one question that never seems to get asked of this group of people is are they replacing alcohol with an alternative recreational drug of choice i.e smoke some weed or using cocaine etc as their preferred party packet so to speak.
That makes me wonder if it is a switch to an alternative drug are they causing the economy a bigger issue in the long term by replacing s taxable drug (alcohol) with a non taxable drug, I will add Im an advocate for making drugs legal and taxing them.
So any under 25s on here who dont drink care to shed some light on this matter or what are other people thoughts on the reduction of younger drinkers as stated above I commend their decision so its not a rant so to speak demanding young people drink
