Honestly, now he is showing the end product befitting of his talents, we are going to struggle to hold onto him. How can any Palace fan argue that he is not world class? Probably the top performing player currently out of any player in the Premier League. If he carries on this form he will be one of the greats and in the same bracket as Ronaldo, Messi, Bale and Neymar.
And yet I look at our side with the likes of Sakho, Cabaye, Benteke etc. If we show enough ambition in the summer transfer window could we not persuade him to stay? He already has top players alongside and the best fans in the country in the stands roaring him on. If we added a couple more star players could we push on up the league and hold onto him for a little longer?
