I wonder if Big Sam would consider following the model of the other home nations in putting out a team of less pampered, more hungry, more patriotic footballers! (OK, so the other nations don't have a choice but you know what I mean)
How about this for a few names to get us going?
Heaton, Butland, Cresswell, Michael Keane, Dann, Dunk, Friend, Bertand
Drinkwater, Puncheon, Ward Prowse, Noble, Deeney, Gayle, Vardy, Andre Gray, Zaha, Damari Gray.
There are lots more out there from the lower reaches of the PL and all over the Championship who would, if selected who fight as hard as any of the players from Wales, Rep of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland
