Travelling Around Australia

hi to all you Aussie Eagles and those of you who have been travelling in Oz.

Looking at going to Australia for a month in 2017, possible March/April.

Me and the missus went in 2013 and this time we want to cover some more ground.

Possibly looking at arriving from the UK in Perth and leaving Oz from Darwin to UK, probably using Malaysian Air as they appear to be the only airline going back towards the UK from Oz.

We want to take in Perth, Freemantle, Uluru, Alice Springs, possibly Coober pedy, Melbourne, Canberra, Moss Vale (Outside Sydney), Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns and Darwin.



Anyone got any sensible ideas for travelling around Oz, mainly flying, but train can come into the equation.

Obviously looking to save money where possible with travel and accommodation.

Probably looking at motel chains for accommodation. Who gives discounts if you book exclusively with a chain etc.

Any good tours involved in those areas?

Who's the cheapest car hire, particularly going interstate. Also cheapest airline.:p

Any advice and help greatly appreciated.
