A long shot I know but my Hoover (HCF5177W) Fridge Freezer has stopped working over night. I know with a previous one I had a while ago a similar fault was caused by the mechanical defrost timer get stuck and there was a small screw you couldn turn to reset it. But I can't find it on this one.
The compressor is a Jiaxipera ZBT1112CY. I think I can see the timer box but there doesn't seem to be anywhere screw to turn unless it is hidden somewhere else.
Turning the appliance off and then on again causes it to start up for about 20 seconds before the compressor stops (like when it goes into auto defrost).
