Premier League B Teams JPT.

Apparently B Teams are being allowed to participate in the JPT Trophy next season.

Against League 3 has this morning been informed of reports that the Football League has agreed to the participation of Premier League B Teams in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy published by The Don’s Trust AL3 has been unable to independantly confirm these reports, but has no reason to disbelieve the summary as published by the Don’s Trust. AL3 as a campaign was primarily to fight against the entry of B teams into the English football pyramid, but were told vehemently by supporters that B teams in the JPT was also unacceptable. It sets a dangerous precedent, further benefits the Premier League over the Football League and diminshes an already ailing competition into nothing more than a playground experiment.
