In response to a journalist's question: " Tony, is that your most satisfying performance since you came in?" "Well, it will be for the next 24 hours.Then we move onto the next one. That's the way it is, that's management for you." I listened to this as carefully as I could and I hope I got the quote right. Forgive if wrong. Anyway, you get the gist. What a response! To me, that's why this guy is perhaps the best manager we have had in a very long time. We're just after demolishing a team built for millions on the back of beating the league leaders and TP bats off the question like that. What a guy! No wonder, the players are playing like men possessed. He has instilled a total dedication to the cause in those around him. Manager of the year? Who else is as worthy? Brendan Rogers has had so much cash to build that team. Tony has worked with what he had. Amazing.
