Considering we lost nine of our first ten games of the season, at that stage of the season I was hoping we would avoid going down with a record low points total.
Fast forward to where we are now, with three games to go and not just mathematically safe but with a very respectable 43 points with the bonus of four away wins (three doubles) and an entertaining style of counter attacking football, I for one still have to pinch myself for a reality check.
Unsurprisingly, this ranks as one of the best seasons for me (and the family) as Palace supporters and hopefully it's a case of onwards and upwards.
I just want to see last seasons DVD back to back with this seasons when it comes out; again and again, to enjoy how far we have come in two seasons.
