Newbie from America here and looking forward to my first match at Selhurst Park (Palace-Man City) so sorry if these questions have been asked a number of times already. I'll be coming from Central London and taking the train from Victoria, so it looks like the two station options near the ground would be Thornton Heath and Selhurst.
Questions:
1) For going to the ground/pre-match, which is the best station to arrive at, which has the best pubs in between the station and the ground?
2) For going back to Victoria, is one station easier to deal with than the other? In other words, if I were to catch a train at Thornton Heath would it already be full with everyone getting on at Selhurst?
