When Chelsea couldn't get a look-in at Battersea Power Station even with Abramovich's money, it kind of wrote it off in my mind. Here's why:

I think we are in a much better position to re-develop Selhurst park than we were pre-Pulis. I don't think we've ever been stronger financially - even without the proposed takeover - and Sainsbury's are in a much weaker state than ever in recent times.
Croydon council seems to be on our side so we've never had a stronger position then now.
I suppose the question has to be asked about ground sharing or a staged re-development while we remain at Selhurst.
