KG is having a scan this morning on his hamstring, that forced him off on Saturday but it seems doubtful that he'll make the Everton game on Wednesday night. Yannick Bolasie has a slight fitness issue too, but it is more likely he'll be okay to start. They will be 'monitoring him this morning'.
You could sense this morning that TP is totally focused on reaching safety and wasn't much interested in anything else going on around in the Premier League, either at the top or with the bottom clubs. Five more games and he's looking for good results in all of them.
He was particularly praiseworthy of the Palace fans who he said were responsible for raising the performance of the players who he thought were 'a bit flat' in the opening 20 minutes on Saturday.
TP will not talk about preparing for next season, and any possible signing, until we are 'over the line'.
You might be interested to know that TP gets to the training ground at about 6.30am to 6.45am every morning as he prepares for the day. He was in the gym this morning looking back at the Villa game and looking at the video of Everton's game at Sunderland.
Asked about Tom Ince he said his attitude was 'first rate' and said he will be a 'top Premiership player', despite finding it difficult to get into the starting line-up, which he said was down to the form of Bolasie, Puncheon & Chamakh.
The team will travel up to the Wirral tomorrow.
