I happened upon the video of this discussion on the BBC SPORT website and because of the many references to TP on it I thought it might interest people on here. I think the conclusion drawn is that most certainly managers can and do influence events. Not having ever coached a football team it interested to me to see just how and to what degree. Of course my admiration for TP shot through the roof.... AGAIN
